Does anyone know - were these a limited run of cars, or are they making any number of them based on demand?

Limited run. Can't remember the numbers but there aren't many.

I was surprised to see one in the Winnipeg airport. Winnipeg is pretty much Canada's belly button - it's in the middle and no one seems to care much about it.

For how low volume it is, that's very surprising!

Looks like 265 S60/V60 polestars to the US for 2016. Not sure about Canada

Yup! I quite like it. I take it you looked at the EXIF data?

Actually, the reflection in the Polestar badge.
My daily is a 1020, and I'm writing this on a 925. I have a 1520 and a 900 as well. (I'm a bit of a Nokia-holic, with 7 or so before these).

Ha ha! I hadn’t noticed that. They do seem (it at least used to) make some decent phones. I haven’t followed their more recent offerings, though.

Yeah, the newer offerings under the Microsoft brand are good phones, but they lack the appeal, uniqueness, and compulsive-”buy-me-now!” qualities of the predecessors, mostly on the design front more than anything else. Looking at the reflection in the badge, it could only have been a 920 since the strip around the camera was dark, while on the 800 and 900 that similar strip was stainless steel. Again, instantly-noticeable design, haha. Much like the clues that identify a Volvo from the more-common German and Japanese competitors, in a way.
